I began this blogging journey on Halloween of last year, which means I’m almost 3 months in already! With every single new post there are new hurdles to leap over, obstacles to overcome and things that must be learned. Journaling in blog form is so much more complicated than journaling in a diary. So far it has taken me a minimum of two and-a-half hours per post (if I am extremely lucky) to get something written and uploaded. My scheduler doesn’t seem to work. Every time I’ve tried to rely on it to post, nothing posts which is frustrating — and inevitably does not get the attention it deserves. And so I have found myself having to insert back-posts to their appropriate, scheduled dates. However, the rewards of blogging make the struggles of being a beginner well worth it!
And if you’re a blogger, then you’ve been at the stage I am at now… starting to feel comfortable and wanting to push for more while not knowing how to do the things you visualize in your head. I know this will be an unending journey and I know that I have everyone cheering me on, encouraging me, appreciating me, sharing themselves and their knowledge with me and that is why you, my fellow bloggers, have made me feel like family. And so I decided I had to find a way to say thank you. I have scheduled this post for Thankful Thursday because I won’t be available to post it myself. And knowing that the scheduler may not reach those I want to reach I am using the trophy award nomination process and passing on this award to each of you.
I am not passing this award on to you because I received it and it is “in the rules.” This is not intended as spam and you do not have to follow the “rules” for the reward. I just want you to know that I am thankful to be getting to know you and for the help you’ve offered along the way, the friendships that are forming and the sharing of your common experiences with me. I feel welcomed into the WordPress family and I want you to know that you are, to me, my blogging brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles. You are all so awesome!
