Loyal friend,
You were always there,

Seventeen years is a long time,
But it surely feels like not enough,
I thank you for what you provided,
All that you did,
You helped me thru shallow times,

My companion right by my side,
Laying with me each night,
Gentle goodness in your heart,
You and I are family forever,
Even in passing, that will never end.
I miss you,

In the Elysian Fields,

This morning, June 27, 2015, I laid my sweet little girl to rest.
I have had her for almost 17 years. She passed peacefully.
I miss her already.
This was a pretty typical morning for us as she was never pleased to have me leave the house.
