Hashtag Convos | Memee's Musings

So I belong to this #supersecret #society on #Facebook. It’s so secret they don’t even know I am there. Well anyway, there are these #twowomen who have #full-on, #double-breasted hashtag convos. And, I’m all like, “Hello! What’s this? It totally #openedmyeyes and #gotmymotorrunning! I’ve become the #tantalized #voyeur to their #matingdance. Or, more accurately, their #titillated #PeepingTom because, as I said, they don’t even know #Iamwatching!

I used to feel very #conflicted and #confused about #hashtags. I have #zerounderstanding for how they #function in #relationship to #oneanother. #Butt seeing these professionals #dishin it out like #foreplay I fell #inlove.

I still #dontgetit but at least I’m having a #ball with it.

So how about you? Love’m or Hate’m? Take the #HashtagPoll or give me the #dingdonglong or #supershort of it in the #comments #DownUnder. #ScratchMyItch, I’m ready to be #schooled!

  1. I liked the humor in your post. #tags are best when used on Twitter but you have to check and see if the #tag you want to use is being used on twitter. It points other readers to that particular #tag is all it does. Pinterest is starting to use them too but most of the other social media doesn’t use #tags much. 🙂

  2. I appreciated the humor. Hashtags are helpful in times searching for information. It’s a rapid way to search on google now. 🙂 I watched the Justin Timberlake explains hashtags on I think it was an NBC show, quite hilarious!

  3. I love hashtags…on Instagram! To get my posts seen…because I use Instagram as a huge way to advertise my blog posts. More hashtags usually reaches more people. And certain hashtags are more popular and so on and so forth. I like them in certain instances 😉 LifeAsLex

    1. Thanks. I had great fun writing it.

I got more feedback on how to use hashtags when I wasn’t really looking for it. Just stating that I don’t get it. I still don’t. But they are great fun just for fun! I like that you enjoyed it for the fun and not for the “purpose” others viewed it to have. 🙂

  4. Hi Breanna,
Great to see you at Blogger’s Pit Stop last week.
I love hashtags. It helps old and new audiences find me on Twitter and Google+ and possibly Facebook.
Thanks for bringing your post to the Blogger’s Pit Stop last week.

    1. Thanks, Janice. I have decided I really like them too. Not big on texting or tweeting (even though I understand the power of Twitter) but the hashtags certainly are a fun shortcut to making our point!
